In 2021, the pandemic compelled me to remain in Pomona. As I observed the condition of the city and witnessed people living on the streets, struggling with illness, hunger, and homelessness, I was deeply troubled. While establishing my new life here, I dedicated time to researching and understanding the city's social, economic, and political challenges. Through that process, I came to the conclusion that the most effective way I could contribute to positive change was to run for Mayor of Pomona myself. I am not supported by any political party, special interest group, or organization. I firmly believe that to truly represent the best interests of the people, a candidate must remain independent of third-party influence and free from obligations that could compromise their commitment to the community.
I am committed to building an efficient, accountable, and fiscally responsible government that respects taxpayers and delivers results. I believe every public dollar should be spent wisely, every department should be held accountable for its performance, and every city program should demonstrate measurable value to residents. Government exists to serve the people, not bureaucracy. That is why I support streamlining operations, eliminating wasteful spending, increasing transparency, and ensuring that city resources are directed toward essential services that improve quality of life. Through responsible leadership, financial discipline, and a focus on results, I will work to create a government that is responsive, efficient, and worthy of the public's trust.
